Historic Crab Orchard Museum Overview
The Historic Crab Orchard Museum has origins in 1975 and is a nationally registered Crab Orchard Archaeological site that sits on part of a late Woodland period Cherokee community. A beautiful patch of land on the tapestry of the diverse Appalachian cultural heritage of Southwest Virginia, the museum center covers approximately 7,2000 square feet. With 15 historic log and stone structures and the Red Barn, this museum makes for a unique venue for your wedding festivities. Not only is a stunning location but its rich history and cultural importance will add a depth to your happy festivities. Have a gorgeous outdoor wedding in the pastures with rolling hills filling the backgrounds of all your wedding photos. Place bleach while picnic chairs for your guests facing a clearing in the centuries old trees where you and your soon-to-be spouse will make your vows. Place an arch weaved in with flowers to complete the breathtaking picture.Venue Notes
The rental fee ranges from $400 to $1,000 for a ceremony and reception and includes 12 hours of event time including set up and clean up time. Guest counts above 120 receive day prior for set up. Inclimate weather backups available, please inquire with venue for details.Amenities And Requirements
