Created in 1887, the North Point Lighthouse was built with a 39-foot high octagon shaped structure constructed entirely of bolted cast iron sections. North Point Lighthouse, surrounded by two acres of land, offers a one-of-a-kind experience for your wedding engagement, ceremony, reception, and rehearsal dinner for the couple who desires a personal and intimate setting. Not only will your event be held in a historic setting, but you will also become a part of its history. A myriad of metaphors serve a couple well at the start of their life journey together: the longevity of the lighthouse; its bright beam guiding ships on their past journeys; and the dedication of its keepers to maintain the light shining on the horizon to those that seek it. Say your vows in the tower or on the steps. Have an intimate ceremony with four people in the tower lens room or a wedding picnic for an unconventional approach to your special day. For a more traditional couple, host a formal ceremony on the bluff or by the Victorian Kitchen Garden and a reception on the terrace for the lovely ceremony of your dreams.
