Imagine having a gorgeous wedding ceremony and reception at the historic Grand Rapids Public Museum, the oldest museum in Michigan. Your guests will admire the beauty of this gorgeous and convenient downtown location. After the Main Event, they can take a stroll down memory lane through The Streets of Old Grand Rapids or just enjoy a memorable ride on our carousel. The three story Galleria has a spectacular riverfront view of the lights and the splendor of downtown Grand Rapids. Both indoor and outdoor ceremony locations are available to make your day a first-class experience in the most unique setting possible. For a traditional wedding in a grandiose, elegant setting, consider the Meijer Theater. This beautiful auditorium will make your wedding a true production. Utilize the Antique Wurlitzer organ or baby grand piano for a lovely vintage touch. The organ is part of the Museum’s collection and will make your walk down the aisle to the tune of the traditional wedding march all the more special. If you want an outdoor ceremony, you will find the perfect place bringing together scenic nature views and breathtaking industrial architecture on the scenic southeast lawn, overlooking the Grand River and downtown.Venue Notes
The rental fee ranges is $3,000 for a reception and includes 4 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. There is also a guest minimum of 100 applied to all events. The set up fee for a ceremony is $1,000 - $1,500 with reception rental. An additional hour can be arranged for a fee of $500.Amenities And Requirements
