Crystal Ballroom at the Rice Overview
The Crystal Ballroom at the Rice is a 1913 historic ballroom located in the heart of downtown Houston’s Rice Hotel. Originally the capital of the Republic of Texas, this is one of Houston's most unique and historic landmarks. Ideal for your romantic wedding celebration, this venue is elegant, sophisticated and memorable. The Crystal Ballroom is resplendent with crystal chandeliers, heroic murals, 35-foot ceilings, Mahogany French doors and a full wraparound terrace. The 5,600 square foot event space and the adjunct 1,400 square foot parlor provide an ample space for up to 400 guests for a seated meal, with a dance floor. Sambuca, one of Houston’s most exclusive caterers, provides food and beverage service. An elegant lobby entrance will greet your guests as crystal chandeliers sparkle from above. There is no rental fee for the reception but there is a food and beverage minimum applied to all events. The venue allows 4 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. The set up fee for a wedding ceremony is $1,200. A refundable security deposit of $500 is required.Amenities And Requirements
