Sugar Bank Overview

Our venue is housed in an historic, 1920s brick warehouse located in central Los Angeles. We are an adaptive use space that brims with character and charm.  If you have been searching for that perfect blank canvas that will allow you to craft the venue of your dreams, then take a close look at the Sugar Bank! As an urban, raw industrial space we are perfectly suited for those wanting a more alternative venue. The floor plan gives you three areas to stage both ceremony, banquet and reception. You are given full access to the entire ground floor of our building with no shared spaces. It is yours for the day and evening. You have free reign to customize, decorate, hang, paint, build and utilize the rooms as needed. The main space, our gallery, has towering 16 foot exposed wood bean ceilings with an overhanging Mezzanine. Our warehouse, has distressed brick walls, concrete floors, an expansive skylight, two shuttered windows, and adjacent courtyard. Exposed ceiling beams adorned in designer lights allow you to create a romantic, gallery-like space that suits your purposes. An adjacent warehouse has a perfectly restored 1920s wall that looks right out of an old movie set. Our enclosed, outdoor courtyard has vine-covered walls under a canopy of globe lights and sky. There are numerous side rooms that can be used as prep areas to primp and relax before walking down the aisle, or to use for catering, storage, or other needs. Included in the rental is Air Conditioning, power, track lighting, five fully stocked bathrooms, and assorted furnishings. We can also provide any party rentals, including banquet tables, chairs, cocktail tables, bar top, linens, sound system and projector. But this isn’t just about our building. It is about EXPRESSING YOUR VISION! Let us help you make this a ceremony or reception that will be as unique as you! We promise to make your booking a productive, hassle-free success!

The rental fee ranges is $3,500 for a wedding and reception. This allows access from 8:00 am until midnight.
