Originally the historic home was part of a larger estate called “Faulkner House” -- after esteemed writer and Southern aristocrat William Faulkner -- and was rebuilt in 1815 after a fire destroyed the original structure. Host your occassion out on the lawn, an airy white tent perfectly complementing the lush green grass and mature trees surrounded the property. The Shenandoah Dining Room boasts a warm atmosphere on the ground floor, complete with french doors and garden patio access. Many of the smaller dining rooms offer a similar welcoming ambiance reminiscent of gentler times -- perfect for more intimate occasions!
